Hello everyone and a good golf season

While the superintendents clear the greens from the snow and begin preparations for their courses. Golf clubs are gearing up for another exciting season ahead.

The Association de Montréal, which represents the 100 or so golf courses on its territory and the spokesperson for clubs and all golfers, is also preparing for its 2022 season. Here is some relevant information for golfers in the greater Montreal area.

Association Executive Meeting March 30 Laval

The six members of the executive meet in Laval on Wednesday, March 30, to finalize the preparation for the season. One of the issues under discussion was the creation of the Association’s not-for-profit corporation and the adoption of the budget.

Association Activity Directors, Interclubs, Junior, Amateur and Senior tournaments, both male and female, present their 2022 business plan

Wednesday, April 13, Male and Female Club Captains Webinar

Two meetings are scheduled, one at 14:00 and the other at 19:00. There will be a presentation by Golf Canada and Golf Québec on what’s new and then information on the Association’s activities. Club captains, professionals, general managers and club presidents are also invited.

April 1, 2022, registration for the Association de Montréal tournaments opens, 12:00 PM

Junior players, amateurs, seniors, men and women can register for the Montreal Association tournaments on the Golf Genius tournament site.

Due to date conflict, the tournament 2 ball, best ball was moved to June 27.
