Vallée du Richelieu Golf Club wins for the third consecutive year in the Group 1 A division of the Montreal Regional Golf Association (ARGM)

On a beautiful day on July 10, the Montreal Regional Association presented its A Division Interclub Competition, Group 1 to 17. Perpetuating a tradition dating back to 1927, the Association’s clubs meet for this friendly but sometimes intense competition.

In Division 1, the Vallée du Richelieu Golf Club hosted the Beloeil, Royal Montréal and Summerlea clubs to determine the grand champion of the competition, which brings together 62 teams in its 17 groups.

The Richelieu Valley won this prestigious group with 41 points, followed by Beloeil 34, Summerlea, 27 and Royal Montréal, 18. Since the Vallée presented the competition for the second time in a row, in 2024 Beloeil who finished second will receive in turn. For Royal Montréal, it was a rare return to Group 2, while the Blainvillier Golf Club joined Group 1 after winning Group 2
